2025 Camrose and District Music Festival April 7-10
Our Philosophy:
The Camrose and District Music Festival believes that the most important aspects of the festival are the experience gained from the entrant's performance and the opportunity to learn new ideas from the Adjudicators. We believe performance and observation help everyone improve their skills in the fine arts.
As such, the Camrose and District Music Festival will continue to provide an opportunity for ALL students to perform in a non-competitive environment, leading them towards further personal growth and excellence. Starting with the 2025 Festival, ALL students will be eligible for scholarships and prizes, and the route to provincials still remains.
Awards are not meant to be competitive goals, but are the recognition of excellence and encouragement for the continuation of studies in Music and Speech Arts.

The annual Camrose & District Music Festival was first established in 1982 and was designed to promote music, speech arts, and dance by encouraging amateurs to participate and perform in a friendly, workshop-like environment, honing skills and leading towards further personal growth and excellence in the fine arts. 30 years later the importance of fostering music in young people and giving them a space in which they can showcase their creative skills and receive positive feedback and encouragement is more important than ever.
