Festival Awards
Scholarships and cash prizes are restricted to residents of the City and County of Camrose, but extend also to the boundaries of the Battle River School Division #31 attendance area, and are awarded upon the recommendation of the adjudicators.
Scholarships
- Lions Rose Bowl and $500 scholarship is presented to the soloist or group who, in the opinion of the adjudicators, gives the best performance of the Festival.
- Multi-Talent Trophy and $300 scholarship is presented to the soloist who gives outstanding performances in at least three disciplines.
- Camrose Area Piano Teachers’ Association Piano Scholarship for Summer Study presented to a promising pianist, age 11-16, minimum Grade 6 Piano standard.
- Chamberlain Piano Scholarship of $150 to a superior junior solo keyboard performance.
- Betty Gaede Memorial Piano Prize of $35 to the student with the highest mark in a piano solo, Canadian Composers’ class.
- About Time Productions Scholarship of $150 for a superior musical theatre performance.
- About Time Productions Prize of $75 for an excellent musical theatre performance.
- $150 scholarship for a superior vocal solo performance
